Built by four people who were recently students.
We're building the academic workspace we wish we'd had — one that respects your time, your mind and your money.
AevenSpace is one workspace for the school day: assignments, courses, notes, your calendar and seventy-two built-in courses, with an assistant that has read your week and tells you the three things that matter today.
We work from Lisbon and Chicago. Between us we had recently finished the exact school years the product is built for, which is less a credential than a memory of what the bad weeks felt like.
Nobody is disorganised. The information is.
Three things that aren't up for negotiation
Every product decision runs into one of these eventually. When it does, the commitment wins.
Free, on purpose
Access to a calmer way to study shouldn't depend on what a student can pay. Every feature, for every student, at no cost — no paid tier holding the useful parts back, and no advertising.
Nothing sold
Student work, notes and check-ins are not a product. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from study data.
No teacher dashboard
Nothing a student writes is reported to their school. There is no administrator view, and we don't plan to build one — a student is only honest with a tool that isn't watching them.
Less, better
We add features slowly and cut ruthlessly. Calm comes from restraint, and every screen we ship has to earn the space it takes.
The full set of principles behind that — including how we treat well-being data and why the AI stays in the margin — is on our mission page.
Come and use it.
It's free, and it always will be. Questions go to aevenspace@gmail.com — a person answers.
