Why it costs nothing
The honest versionAevenSpace was built by four people who were recently students. We watched classmates skip the tool that would have helped because it was £8 a month, and we are not interested in rebuilding that.
So there is no paid tier. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and nothing you write is used to train anything. School sync is read-only, and there is no teacher dashboard — by design, permanently.
If we ever add something optional and genuinely expensive to run, it would sit alongside what you already have rather than fencing it off. Anything free today stays free.

Free as in… actually free?
Yes. Every feature, for every student, at no cost. There is no paid tier, no trial timer, no card required to start and no feature quietly reserved for people who pay.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t a pricing catch. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t train anything on your work. AevenSpace was built by people who were recently students and could not have afforded it either.
Will you start charging later?
If we ever add something optional and expensive to run, it would be an extra — not a wall around what you already use. Anything free today stays free.
Do schools pay?
No. A year group or a whole school can use it on the same free terms, with the privacy paperwork done and onboarding that fits in a single lesson. Get in touch and we’ll set it up.
Is my work private?
Your work is yours. There is no teacher dashboard and there never will be. School sync is read-only — assignments and grades come in, nothing goes out.
Can I take my stuff with me?
Any time: notes as Markdown, assignments and calendar as .ics, in one zip. Deleting your account removes everything within 30 days, and we email you the export first.
