What we're trying to change.

AevenSpace exists to take the panic out of studying. Here is what that means in practice — and how we'll know whether it's working.

We're early. AevenSpace is new, and we'd rather tell you what we're building toward than put numbers on a page we can't stand behind.

When there are results worth reporting, they'll appear here with the method attached.

Why it matters

Burnout isn't a badge of honour

Most productivity tools pile on more to track. AevenSpace is built to do the opposite — read your workload and your well-being, then quietly hand back a plan you can actually follow.

The aim is fewer all-nighters, fewer forgotten deadlines, and more of the calm focus that good work is actually made of. Every feature is free, because a healthier way to study shouldn't be a paywall.

Where we're aiming

Three things we're building for

Time back

Planning that took an evening should take a tap, so your hours go to the work — or to rest.

Steadier weeks

Well-being check-ins should catch overload early and reshape the plan before it snowballs.

Follow-through

Small, ordered steps should mean assignments actually get finished, not just started.

Holding ourselves to it

How we'll know it's working

Three questions we intend to answer honestly, including when the answer is unflattering.

Does it survive week six?

Novelty carries an app for a fortnight. The only retention worth counting is a student still opening it when the term gets heavy.

Does the plan get followed?

A schedule nobody keeps is decoration. We care whether the blocks Aeven places actually get used.

Are the check-ins honest?

If students start reporting what they think we want to hear, the feature has failed — and no amount of usage would mean anything.

What we won't do

Impact that doesn't cost you your privacy

None of this depends on reporting on you. There is no teacher dashboard, your check-ins are never shared with your school, and nothing you write here is sold.

A tool that watches you produces polite fictions. We'd rather have the honest version and a plan built on it — and the same goes for what we claim on this page.

Be part of it.

Free for every student. Always. If you use it and it doesn't help, we'd genuinely like to hear why — aevenspace@gmail.com.
